| Saint John is a community of historical firsts. In 1785, we became Canada`s first incorporated city. This was the site of Canada`s first farmer`s market, which still operates today. Inspired by these historic events, we`re continuing our legacy of firsts into the 21st century. In 2006, we became the site of Canada`s first brain surgery using innovative, portable equipment. And more firsts are on the horizon. We invite you to come and explore this legacy here in Saint John, and to experience more history in the making. |
